The Queen Elizabeth campsite is located in the small village of Kyambura, close to the National Park just South of Kasese.  It is about 10 minutes drive to the Main Entrance to the Park and the site has extensive panoramic views across the Park overlooking the rift valley.

The campsite is designed for small groups of up to 25 people and the main purpose is to enable groups to stay for around a week and enjoy the Park facilities whilst enjoying the local community and culture.

Overlanders are welcome but all visitors must book in advance with John to make sure that the site is available.

Prices vary according to group sizes and the facilities used but a guidline is £8 per day per person based on a group of 10 self-catering. Local staff are available at a small extra cost to help with the catering.
