The St David's College Team visited the campsite in July,
making plans for the visit of the Leeds Met. Team.
The Leeds Met Team were in Uganda from 24 July until late August. Sarah Reynolds and Natalie Robinson led a combined team with past pupils from St David's College in Llandudno.
The team will be helping to construct a permanent campsite near Queen Elizabeth National Park. The land for the campsite is about 10 minutes from the National Park with stunning views at the last visit elephants could be seen from site. The site is close to a small village and is next to a small school.
The aim is to provide a site to run short activity holidays for young people from the shanty towns and for children from orphanages. The teamran two 3 day activity holidays during August and also taught in Chamboura school, next to the campsite.

Here are the first pictures of the Link International village
located in a place called Kyambura, Bushenyi District, Western Uganda. I
Hope the teams won't be disappointed with what we have managed to do within
a short period of time! Work is still going on on the fourth cottage and
i am hoping it will be almost ready for occupation by the time we travel
down. The two bathrooms now have tap water, flushing toilets and showers.
with my new invention, the teams might even be able to have warm showers at
the campsite!
