Christina - Maternity Project
A brave 18-year-old from North Wales has started raising money to help underprivileged families in Uganda after visiting a shanty town in the country. Christina is the visionary behind the maternity project, she will be entering Nursing College in the coming year. Prior to this she will make her 4th visit to Uganda this summer to continue to develop her vision for the project.

Hosanna School Project
St David's College Team visited Uganda from 9-22 July. The team worked in
Kisenyi shanty town in Kampala, completing a classroom building project and
running an activity programme in the school.

Amelia Barber - Trade Link Project
Amelia visited Uganda in February to fact find for a craft trade project
- TRADE-LINK. She intends to develop this in very poor communities providing
a means of trading their craft artefacts in UK in small local outlets and
linking these UK communities with the communities in Uganda where the goods
are made.

Katwe Dolls Project
There are many children in Shanty Towns who do not have money for schooling.
At Katwe United Primary School the children have been making Katwe Dolls
- these are Christmas decorations which we sell for them in UK.

Activity Camp Project
The team will be helping to construct a permanent campsite near Queen Elizabeth
National Park. The land for the campsite is about 10 minutes from the National
Park with stunning views at the last visit elephants could be seen from site.
The site is close to a small village and is next to a small school.
